You can enroll someone as an observer in a course in EMS/Canvas by following these instructions.  Note that before the person can be enrolled in the course, they need to log into ELMS once to accept the terms of agreement which basically makes the person a known entity to ELMS-Canvas.

If the person is not enrolled at UMD, the person must create an associate account first using these instructions.
