Excessive Buffering when viewing Recorded Lecture

When viewing a recorded lecture, the video pauses/freezes periodically, interrupting the stream and makes viewing difficult.

When archiving recordings at the end of the semester, EIT staff will remove media types associated with the recorded lectures as part of their content management strategy. The removal of this media can temporarily cause viewing issues for viewers with lower speed internet access. EIT attempts to prevent this disruption, but this can still happen on occasion.

Solution:

Email dets-support@umd.edu with course name/number and lecture title. Explain the excessive buffering issue that you are experiencing so EIT staff can re-generate the media type needed, and eliminate the buffering problem.
