Canvas | Adding a TA
To add a teaching assistant (TA), faculty must contact the department scheduler. Anyone requiring gradebook access must be entered into the Student Information System (SIS). Once added to SIS, access to a course will be available the next day
If a user only needs to access a course to add and or edit content, without access to Grades or student assignment submissions, they can be added as a Designer in the ELMS Management Tool (EMT). The Designer role can also serve as temporary access for a TA.
