Connect to WiFi Before Login on Windows

There are some unique cases where you may need to be connected to a network before you're able to log in.
  1. Turn on your computer and let it boot up. When you get to this screen, click on the WiFi icon.

  2. In the list that appears, click on the wireless network you want to connect to. If you're on campus, choose "eduroam" and enter your username with @umd.edu at the end, and your campus password. If you're at home, choose your home network.

    If you are asked if you want to continue connecting, click "Connect." 
    Click Connect

  3. Now if you are on Campus, you can log in to your laptop like usual with your campus username and password. If you are off-campus, you will have to follow these additional instructions: GlobalProtect Connect Before Logon (PreLogon)
