Who has viewed my Panopto video?

Panopto offers detailed statistics to see if students have watched a video.

To view which students have viewed a video:


  1. Open your Canvas Course 

  2. Go to Panopto Recordings (left-side menu)

  3. Select Stats for a particular video

  4. Scroll down to view top participants, View All, or Downoload Reports

Please Note:  Students viewing a live Zoom session will NOT be listed in Panopto statistics. 

You can view a list of Zoom participants by


1.  Go to https://umd.zoom.us/account/report

2.  Select Usage

3. Find the meeting using the calendar search tool

4.  Select Participants to see a list or export it
