Preventing Video Downloads

Panopto is the best way to prevent videos from being downloaded. Students can use another device to record a video but you can deter students from easily capturing videos. 

1. Record Zoom videos to your desktop  

2. Enable Panopto to your Navigation Menu

Within Panopto, you can set options for each video, a folder, or a parent folder to limit video downloads.  See the screenshots below for setting the root folder (1) and video (2):
