To be present for questions during an Honorlock exam, use Zoom.  

Honorlock settings (two options)

•  White list your zoom room on the exam and students will then be able to message you questions. Provide the zoom room URL in the Canvas exam instructions so students can easily access the zoom room from their exam.

• Remove the browser guard (less secure) which would allow students to run the zoom application from their computer. 

Zoom Setting

• Limit the Zoom chat to Host only to avoid students chatting with each other.

Note: some students may have limited bandwidth.  Requiring zoom, Honorlock, and Canvas could be problematic for some students.
